e.g. We can put you up for the night.

我们可以招待你过夜。

Let’s decorate Christmas tree. 让我们装扮圣诞树。

decorate ['dekəreɪt] (动词) 装饰；布置；授予某人奖章或其他奖状

e.g. We decorated the house for Christmas.我们装饰房屋过圣诞节。

decoration [ˌdekə'reɪʃn] (名词)装饰（品）

e.g. She put some decorations on the Christmas tree.

她在圣诞树上放了一些装饰品。

Put up your stockings. 挂好袜子。

stockings 长袜

socks 短袜

Merry Christmas! 圣诞快乐！

merry (形容词) 愉快的；欢乐的

What present do you want? 你想要什么礼物？

礼物可以用present也可以用gift。

present还可以做形容词，指“现在”，看看下面这段话：

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the "present.”

其中present就是一个双关语，既指“现在”，又指“礼物”。
